Overview

Taekwondo is a very systematic martial art from Korea that involves head-height kicks, spinning, jumping, and fast kicking techniques. Many people enjoy Taekwondo at Strong Martial Arts because it involves more than just movement of the body, but also positive training of the spirit and mind.

 

Tiny Tigers

The Tiny Tiger Program was developed specifically for preschool children ages 4 through 6. This Program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline.

Karate For Kids

Taekwondo is a total body workout because it involves a lot of explosive kicks, speed, and agility.. At Strong Martial Arts, we know the importance of a healthy mind and body. Child-obesity is a serious problem in the United States, so introducing your child to martial arts is a great way to combat that.

 

Teen & Adult Taekwondo

Training in Taekwondo takes many people out of their comfort zones. Taekwondo is physically very dynamic with a lot of active movements and poses from other perspectives. In Taekwondo, you’ll burn hundreds of calories in each class, develop lean muscles, and boost flexibility. Taekwondo is a high-energy training class that is great for overall health and/or weight loss.

 

Hyper Pro Training

“Don’t measure yourself by what you have accomplished, but by what you should have accomplished with your abilities.”  It is a workout where you have to have endurance to execute all the various kicks and punches until the end of class. By engaging your brain during class, this program can help provide a completely different workout that you won’t find anywhere else.
